Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

RepostZap (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a mobile app for iPhone (App Store) and Android (Google Play) that helps you find and remove your own reposts on TikTok. This policy covers both versions, which handle data identically. Questions: support@repostzap.com.

2. Your TikTok account and password

• You log in to TikTok inside an in-app web view pointed at tiktok.com. The login happens on TikTok's own page. RepostZap never sees, receives, or stores your password.
• Your TikTok session (cookies) stays on your device so the app can act on your behalf. It is not transmitted to us.
• Scanning and removing reposts happen through your own active session, directly between your device and TikTok. We do not run a server that touches your TikTok account.

3. Data stored on your device

• Cleanup history: a local record of the reposts you removed (thumbnail, title, description, time), kept only for your review. You can permanently erase it any time in Settings.
• App settings and usage counters: e.g. your daily removal count and preferences, stored locally.

This data is stored on your device and is not uploaded to us. Deleting the app removes it.

4. Third-party services we use

To run subscriptions and understand app stability and usage, the app uses these providers, which may process limited technical data (such as a random app-generated identifier, device model, OS version, and in-app events):

• Apple (iPhone): in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by the App Store.
• Google Play (Android): in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing.
• RevenueCat: manages your subscription status using an anonymous app-user identifier.
• Superwall: paywall presentation and conversion measurement.
• Google Firebase: Analytics (aggregate usage and stability) and Remote Config (fetching app configuration values).

We do not use this data to identify you personally, and we do not sell personal data.

5. What we do NOT collect

• Your TikTok password.
• Your TikTok content, followers, or messages beyond the reposts you choose to review/remove on your device.
• Your contacts, photos, precise location, or health data.

6. Children

RepostZap is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Your choices

• Erase your local cleanup history in the app's Settings at any time.
• Sign out or delete your local app data from Account settings in the app.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings (iPhone) or in Google Play → Subscriptions (Android).
• Limit ad/analytics identifiers in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security, or in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

8. Not affiliated with TikTok

RepostZap is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance. TikTok is a trademark of its respective owner.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
